Anthony Hicks first built the business on a foundation of twenty year's experience in the engineering market. Having grown up in the historic town of Rye, Anthony always had an inner passion for oak framed buildings and founded our business in 1980. This wealth of knowledge now underpins one of the largest companies in the UK specialising in both historic building restoration and repair and the manufacture of new oak timber frame homes and traditional oak frame buildings. Anthony Hicks has built an unrivalled reputation for quality and expertise in the restoration and repair of England's historic buildings and this passion continues to burn brightly throughout our company.

Our company is proud to have worked on many prestigious projects throughout England, Germany, France and North America, where our dedicated team of specialist carpenters have employed traditional carpentry skills to achieve outstanding results every time.
