The frames are carefully removed and replaced by temporary panels, which will remain in place while the repairs are undertaken. The original frames are carefully transported to our workshop, where they are meticulously repaired and returned to their original condition, with careful attention to detail by our expert craftsmen.
Where necessary defective and worn lengths of lead came will be replaced by new lengths, in addition to new glass panels where required. The frames are then carefully returned and restored to the building. This meticulous approach ensures that each repair remains faithful to the original design, maintaining both the character and the structural integrity of the window. Every stage is handled with care to ensure the finished result is durable, secure, and visually seamless.
